New postcode trial

As of the 7th April 2010, we are trialling a new postcode lookup routine on the booking system.

The new module utilises the PostCode Web SOAP product from Allies computing, and allows the booking software to provide premise level postcoding without the need to purchase a separate licence. Offering our customers a more complete service and reducing their annual costs.

N.B. A separate licence is still required if you wish to provide postcode lookups from your online booking form.

Postcode changes

From the 1st April 2010, Royal Mail are changing the way they licence the postcode data. These changes will allow for per-click licensing, enabling us to offer more flexible postcode lookup solutions.

To take advantage of these changes we will be making changes to the postcode lookup module and it is our hope that we will be able to reduce costs and simplify licensing for all our clients.
