I’m Simon, I started Holray back in 1996 and I started developing the Booking System in 2005 for a local boatyard here in my home county of Norfolk. I’m still the chief developer and despite having worked in development since I was 14, every day is still an opportunity to learn something new.
I like to get out of the office as often as I can and catch up with our customers and it always gives me a buzz seeing the application I’ve developed helping those customers to manage their business.
Aside from development and running Holray I have a keen interest in cycling, although seldom seem to be out these days, and enjoy tinkering with electronics, vintage hi-fi, retro computing and love to be out on the water sailing or cruising in our 1971 Freeman 23, Dragonfly.
